Pierce Co. officials spend $30k in golf trips

  TACOMA, Wash. - Pierce County officials and sheriff's deputies have spent at least $30,000 during the last two years to visit golf tournaments, including the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, Calif., in June, to prepare the county to host its own golf events.
